The tenderloin makes one of the most premium beef steaks, as each ox only yields a small amount. The tenderloin boasts the most tender muscle of all the parts from the prime loin section. It is also known as the filet mignon.
To enjoy this tenderloin steak, lightly season the meat with salt and pepper, and grill or cook to medium rare.
O’Connor has produced the finest Black Angus and premium beef from Gippsland, Australia, for three generations. Their entirely free-range cattle are raised with no artificial hormones and no antibiotics. These premium cattle are pasture-fed.
